2008 announcements
Calvary's Youth Group, simply named-- CBC Y-Group is off the ground and running! The group has had 2 successful monthly activities so far this year. The first big Activity was in February-- Superbowl Sunday. March brought The BEST Scavenger Hunt--EVER. on April 25th the crew will head to Bloomington to see Casting Crowns in concert, then head back to the Church for an Ultimate Lock-In evening! More details will be posted about it on our children ministries page. Message from the pastor
The word Church evokes a variety of reactions from people- some good, some not so good. Descriptions of what God has in mind are offered in several places in the Bible. Reading through those passages helps us understand that church is where we learn truth, benefit from the encouragement of caring people and develop a healthy spiritual life. Here at Calvary we have made a conscious choice to be a place where people can do all those things.
